John Guest LLDPE (linear low density polyethylene pipe) is suitable for a wide range of temperature and pressures, has broad chemical compatibility and is made from non-contaminating materials. It is compatible with pneumatics applications with a maximum pressure 10 bar @ 20'C. At elevated temperatures (50'C), mineral oil used in some systems will degrade LLDPE tubing. Therefore, LLDPE tubing used in pneumatic circuits should be periodically checked and replaced if necessary. Chemical Resistance For use of LLDPE with chemicals or potentially aggressive liquids, please refer to our Technical Service Department. When using cleaning agents or other potentially aggressive liquids, please ensure compatibility with pipe and fittings. LLDPE is not recommended for mineral oils, gases and fuels or high pressure compressed air/pneumatic systems. Exposure to Ultraviolet Light If biofilm growth is considered an issue, only black pipe should be installed in areas exposed to any light. Black pipe is also UV stabilised and can be installed where exposed to direct sunlight (UV).

As it is demountable without tools, it can be easily and quickly removed at any stage to allow work to restart or to make an extension to the system. The stop end is ideal when water needs to be turned on, overnight for instance, or if a job experiences an interruption. stop ends are also useful when pressure testing a system before appliances are connected. Simply push the JG Speedfit stop end fully onto the pipe. To demount the connection, push the collet toward the body of the push-fit fitting and pull the pipe to release. Designed, manufactured and assembled in the UK. Instant push-fit connection Install and demount in seconds without tools Safe flame-free installation, with no hot works, glue or flux Grip & Seal collet with stainless steel teeth and main O-Ring seal Non-toxic, resists corrosion and no scale build-up Compatible with Speedfit PEX and polybutylene plastic pipe (inserts required) and copper pipe Suitable for hot and cold water and central heating systems
Always use a JG Speedfit superseal pipe insert when connecting Speedfit pipe to a Speedfit push-fit fitting. Inserts play a vital role in providing extra support to pipework, ensuring that the ends of the pipe are kept nice and round, and minimising any loss of shape that can occur when cutting. JG Speedfit superseal pipe insert contains dual O-Rings to provide even greater sealing security than a standard insert. The first O-Ring is on the stem that is pushed into the pipe to prevent water from inside the pipe passing between the inside of the pipe wall and the outside surface of the insert. The second O-Ring sits on the end of the insert and seals inside the push-fit fitting, becoming a seal between the main pipe and push-fit fitting. When superseal Inserts are used with Speedfit push-fit fittings a multi-seal is formed as all push-fit fittings also include a main O-Ring seal. 2 extra O-Rings provide enhanced sealing (10mm version features one o-ring only) Maintains structural integrity of the pipe connection Helps make the pipe more rigid when a side load is applied Suitable for hot and cold water and central heating systems Suitable for Speedfit pipes and fittings only
