Ronseal Diamond Hard Floor Paint 750ml Black

Description

Diamond Hard Floor Paint Description Resilient enough to put up with daily knocks, scuffs and scrapes, our Diamond Hard Floor Paint will have your floor looking good and staying tough. Available in a range of colours, it can be used on wood, concrete and stone floors How to paint your floor Before you start Make sure the room is above 10c for the perfect painting temperature. Remove all your furniture and open the doors and windows for extra ventilation. Preparing concrete and stone floors for painting Newly laid concrete has to be left for a month in order to set and dry properly. Once youve left it a month, use a wire brush to remove any dust. To prevent your concrete floors from cracking or blistering, seal it with a stabilising solution. Alternatively you can pour some of the paint into a container and dilute with 10% water. Apply a thin coat to your floor and leave it to dry before painting with undiluted paint. For previously painted concrete or stone, wire brush the floor to help the paint stick. Then wipe it down with white spirit and leave to dry before painting. Preparing wooden floors for painting A smooth floor helps the paint stick so use a floor sander and 120 grit sandpaper to sand your wood. Let the dust settle and then vacuum it up and wipe down your floor with white spirit. If you notice any holes or imperfections, fill them in with a wood filler. For knots, seal them with knot blocker.

Test it on a small patch of your floor and leave it to dry. The colour should now be as expected so make sure youre happy with it. You can use a brush, roller or our Perfect Finish Pad to apply the paint. Start painting in the corner thats furthest from the door. If youre painting wooden floorboards, focus on two or three at a time to avoid overlap marks and paint in the same direction as the grain. Make sure you dont paint yourself

  • Application: The colour in the tin will look different at first so you need to stir it thoroughly to mix the pigments

    Delivery

Next Day Delivery available Monday - Friday when you order by 2pm.

We take delivery very seriously. You can find the UK delivery time for any of our products on the relevant product page. These vary based on complexity of shipping, size/value of the item and the service used. These times are a guideline - however, in well over 99% of cases (and rising), we achieve or beat them.

    DELIVERY PRICES

We offer free delivery throughout mainland UK and Northern Ireland. *This excludes certain items that are difficult to ship and some special offers. ‘Mainland UK’ is defined by the delivery area set by our couriers - although geographically belonging to the mainland we do have to charge a delivery fee to some parts of the Scottish Highlands and other outer lying areas given the increased costs charged by couriers for despatch to these areas. We do however attempt to keep these costs to our customers as low as possible.

*Please note - this may vary for non-mainland UK addresses. You can always check the delivery cost of an order by adding items to your shopping cart and using the ‘Estimate Shipping & Tax’ tool.

Important - if your return qualifies for a refund of the return carriage costs, please be aware that the maximum we can refund is £6. If the return costs are going to be more than this, please call our customer service team who should be able to arrange an alternative solution.
