Rustins Surface Cleaner is a blend of powerful solvents formulated to remove grime and wax. Ideal for use on antique and old furniture where wax and dirt have accumulated. It will not destroy attractive patina that has been acquired due to age. Apply the cleaner with a soft cloth, or if the wood is very dirty, with 000 steel wool. If the wood is open grained use a coarser grade of steel wool. Wipe the surface with a clean rag or kitchen towel whilst the surface is still wet otherwise the cleaner will evaporate redepositing the wax and dirt on the furniture. If after cleaning, the surface is dull but intact, the gloss may be restored with Rustins Finish Reviver which will also remove minor defects. Size: 125ml.

Rustins Plastic Coating Burnishing Cream achieves a mirror like finish and final polished surface. Can be used 24 hours after applying the Rustins Plastic Coating. To apply make sure the surface is smooth and hardened. Once hardened rub the surface with very fine wet and dry paper until all imperfections are removed.
