Thompson's Water Seal utilises hydrophobic technology to deliver invisible protection against water damage. The deep penetrating formulation travels deep into exterior dry porous surfaces to form a breathable membrane that allows moisture vapour inside the substrate to evaporate whilst protecting against water penetration and damage. Thompson's Water Seal has a unique formulation which, unlike some waterproofers, penetrates the surface therefore waterproofing even after the initial beading is gone. It will not be destroyed by ultraviolet light and is long lasting even under heavy moisture conditions. Assuming application instructions and coverage guidelines are adhered to, it provides effective water repellency for years. Suitable for use on brick, concrete and stone. For exterior use only.

A high performance seal for sealing and covering damp, water and other household stains in one coat. Micro-porous formulation allows trapped moisture to escape. Can be applied directly to damp surfaces and permanently stops the reappearance of stains. The one coat formulation – allows the surface to be decorated in 4 hours. The Ronseal One Coat Damp Seal permanently blocks damp stains on walls and ceilings. You can even put it onto damp walls. It lets trapped moisture escape without causing anymore damage. When it's dry you can paint or wallpaper over it. BEFORE YOU START Make sure the cause of damp has been fixed. Open your doors and windows for ventilation and put down dustsheets to protect anything you don't want to get paint on. Preparation: Remove any wallpaper with a scraper and sand off any loose or flaking paint. Make sure the area you are painting is clean, if you've got mould, get rid of it with our 3-in-1 Mould Killer. You can paint onto damp surfaces, just make sure they're not dripping wet. USING YOUR DAMP SEAL Give the paint a really good stir, then use a roller or brush to put it on. If you're covering a small damp patch, make sure you are painting at least 30cm around the area. It'll be touch dry in 2 hours. After 4 hours it'll be ready to paint or wallpaper over. If the area is prone to mould, you can paint over it with our 6 Year Anti-Mould Paint. Ronseal Ultimate Protection Decking Oil provides superior, natural looking protection, for a longer lasting finish. The unique formula penetrates deeper into the wood to provide increased durability. Providing a lightly tinted finish it will give double the weather resistance and foot traffic protection versus standard decking oils. Unique, new to the market, water-based Linseed Oil technology, colours and waterproofs your deck in one easy step. Gives a more natural look to your deck and is rainproof in 90 minutes, recoat in 4 hours. Primarily for use on pre-treated decking. Preparation - Untreated, weathered decking: For untreated grey and weathered wood, use Ronseal Decking Restorer to restore the deck's natural colour and provide a sound base for application which ensures the oil penetrates effectively. Previously finished decking: Use Ronseal Decking Cleaner and Reviver to remove any dust, grease, oil, mildew, algae and other contaminants. Remove any loose, flaking or peeling coatings. To avoid patchiness, and if using a contrasting colour, make sure you remove all previous finishes using Ronseal Decking Stripper. Ensure cut ends are adequately protected using Ronseal Decking End Grain Preserver. New wood: New decking should be allowed to weather naturally (usually 6 months). This will make sure any pre-treatment has eroded allowing the stain to penetrate and adhere to the deck. Clean the deck with Ronseal Decking Cleaner and Reviver using a scrubbing brush to open the pores of the wood and remove any contamination from the manufacture of the timber. Rinse thoroughly with clean water ideally using a pressure washer. Allow to dry fully before over coating. Test effectiveness of the cleaning by splashing the deck with water. If beading occurs, re-clean. Retest before applying any oil. The shade label indicates approximate colour only.
