The stem elbow allows a 90° male to female connection making it an ideal coupler for appliances such as cold water storage tanks. Simply push the push-fit fitting fully onto the pipe and twist the plastic nut clockwise to lock in place. To demount the connection, unlock the nut by hand and push the collet towards the body of the push-fit fitting and pull the pipe to release.
