These Forgefix Phillips, twin fine thread Drywall Screws have a zinc plated finish for increased durability. The screws come complete with a Phillips No.2 insert bit. Their Bugle Head allows the screw to sink effortlessly into the dry lining eithout the need for countersinking, which in turn minimises the damage to the surface. APPLICATION:Designed for fitting dry linings to studding. Zinc coatings prevent oxidation of the protected metal to create a longer lasting finish. It does this by forming a barrier and by acting as a sacrificial anode if this barrier is damaged. Zinc oxide is a fine white dust that (in contrast to iron oxide) does not trigger a breakdown of the substrate’s surface integrity as it is formed. The zinc oxide, if left intact, can act as a barrier to further oxidation, in a way similar to the protection afforded to aluminum and stainless steels by their oxide layers. The Phillips screw has four simple tapered slots. It is designed so that a Phillips tip screwdriver can turn a Phillips screw with increasing torque. When the torque gets to be too strong for the tip then the screwdriver tip winds itself out of the screw thus preventing over-tightening and or damage to the screw head. Fine thread screws have an extremely sharp point which not only pierces the plasterboard skin but will also allow the screw to drill through thin steel base structures.Drywall Screw Phillips Bugle Head TFT ZP 4.2 x 100mm Bulk 500
These Forgefix Phillips, single thread Drywall Screws have a black phosphate finish for increased durability. The screws come complete with a Phillips No.2 insert bit. Their Bugle Head allows the screw to sink effortlessly into the dry lining without the need for countersinking, which in turn minimises the damage to the surface. APPLICATION:Designed for fitting dry linings to studding. Phosphate coatings are made up of thin crystalline layers of phosphate compounds that adhere to the surface of the fixing or fastener. The phosphate crystals are porous and can be formed from zinc, manganese, or iron phosphate solutions. Phosphate coatings offer good corrosion resistance and have an excellent ability to absorb supplementary coatings which improves appearance, corrosion resistance and resistance to abrasion. Coarse thread screws (mainly drywall screws) have an extremely sharp point and are designed to penetrate plasterboard skin. The coarse thread eases in to the board then the timber baton holding the board firm.Drywall Screw Phillips Bugle Head SCT Black Phosphate 4.2 x 100mm Bulk 500
The ForgeFast Decking Screws Reduced Head TORX® T15 are suitable for fixing into softwood or hardwood. They have a deep TORX® compatible insert that reduces cam-out, provides higher torque levels and a firmer drive. Its super sharp tip gives immediate bite from the very first turn. A patented self-drilling thread removes the need to pre-drill the timber and reduces the probability of splitting, even when screwing close to the edge. They have a hardened case and core to give exceptional strength with a reduced head size that provides discreet fixing and superb countersinking. Protected by elementech 2000 surface treatment which provides corrosion resistance up to 30 times longer than some standard zinc coated screws. They are highly resistant to pull out, they can flex by up to 35mm, reducing likelihood of screw shearing when used in flexible materials. CE approved for use in load-bearing timber construction.ForgeFast Decking Screws Reduced Head TORX T15 Size: 4.5 x 60mmPack Size: Tub of 500Finish: Tan elementech 2000

These Forgefix single threaded Decking Screws have Pozi heads and are specially designed, hardened and green treated. The design of the screw helps prevent splitting the boards, and allowing them to expand and contract with the changing seasons. APPLICATIONSpecifically used in Decking applications but also widely used in exterior timber and fencing applications. The 1,000 hour green treated finish offers excellent corrosion resistance to ACQ (Alkaline Copper Quaternary) treated timber used in construction and decking applications. The Pozidriv screw is similar in appearance to the classic Phillips cross-head, but in fact is very different. The Pozidriv has four additional points of contact, and does not have the rounded corners that the Phillips screw drive has. The biggest advantage it offers is that, when used with the correct tooling in good condition, it does not cam out, allowing great torque to be applied. The Pozidriv screw can easily be distinguished by a line embossed in the screw head at 45° to the slots for the driver. Single thread screws have been designed to offer higher pull out values and quicker insertion.Decking Screw Pozi ST Green Anti-Corrosion Treated 4.5 x 75mm Bulk 1000

These Forgefix Cable Ties are suitable for a range of tasks in areas including: gardening, electrical installations, sign installation, point of sale applications and much, much more. They can be joined together, increasing the size and diameter reach. The cable tie consists of a tape section with triangular teeth that slope in one direction, as in a ratchet mechanism. The head of the cable tie has a slot with a flexible pawl that rides up the slope of these teeth when the tape is inserted. Once the pointed tip of the cable tie has been pulled through the case and past the ratchet, it is prevented from being pulled back; the resulting loop may only be pulled tighter. Extensive size range from 100-450mm. Available in widths 2.5-8.0mm. The ties have a temperature range for continuous use from 40-85°C.These ForgeFix Cable Ties are: Colour: Natural/Clear Size: 8.0 x 450mm Pack Quantity: 100

These Forgefix General Purpose Pozidrive Screws with Countersunk heads are zinc plated for increased durability. They are an extremely popular general purpose screw, and suitable for use in and with many materials. APPLICATION:Ideal for use in many ironmongery, electrical and plumbing applications. Can be used with various screw cover caps. The zinc oxide, if left intact, can act as a barrier to further oxidation, in a way similar to the protection afforded to aluminium and stainless steels by their oxide layers. The countersunk head is designed to sink flush with substrates to leave a smooth surface finish. They have twin threads, which enable an easy start when driving.
