These Forgefix Masonry Anchor Projection Bolts have a Zinc Yellow Passivated finish for increased durability and resistance to corrosion. They have a tough and reliable construction to cover most heavy-duty fixing applications. The four-way expansion shield offers extremely strong and secure anchorage, and the specially manufactured retaining spring ensures encapsulation of the wedge during expansion. Projection bolts offer easier fixture removal or repositioning due to the bolt remaining in the shield. APPLICATION:Ideal for securing reinforcement wall plates, lighting supports, guy ropes and bracketry.Ensure the correct socket drive or spanner is used to ensure accurate installation. When sizing a Masonry Anchors it is most important to know the depth of the material that you are fixing.Eg: Size M610: The 'M6' is the thread size of the bolt. The '10' denotes the maximum thickness of material it will fix. The Zinc Yellow Passivation process of electroplating is similar to the ‘Galvanised’ and ‘Zinc Plated’ processes but with the addition of a yellow dye. It provides a coating that is aesthetically pleasing, and which offers excellent resistance to corrosion.Masonry Anchor Bolt Projecting Zinc Yellow Passivated M8 x 10 Bag 10

The Forgefast Hexagonal/Torx® Compatible Timber Screws are suitable for fixing into soft or hardwood. They have a combination hexagonal head with a deep Torx® compatible insert that reduces cam-out, also provides higher torque levels and a firmer drive. Its super sharp tip gives immediate bite from the very first turn. A patented self-drilling thread removes the need to pre-drill the timber and reduces the probability of splitting, even when screwing close to the edge. Hardened case and core give exceptional strength. Protected by elementech 2000 surface treatment which provides corrosion resistance up to 30 times longer than some standard zinc coated screws. They are highly resistant to pull out, they can flex by up to 35°, reducing likelihood of the screw shearing when used in flexible materials. CE approved for use in load-bearing timber construction. Available in a green or tan treated finish.Forgefast Hexagonal/Torx® Compatible Timber Screws Size: 7 x 150mm.Pack Size: Tub of 50.Finish: Tan elementech 2000.
These Forgefix Carriage Bolts are Zinc Plated, and ideal for timber to timber joining. They come complete with a hex nut and are fully threaded to 100mm. Also known as 'Cup Square Hex Bolts', the square underneath the Cup stops rotation of the bolt when tightening. Conform to DIN 603 and DIN 934 standards. Available in a comprehensive range of sizes to suit most applications. APPLICATIONUsed mainly for fastening timber to timber and is extensively used for timber joist construction in house building and numerous decking applications. A Carriage Bolt, also known as a Coach Bolt or as a ‘Fully Threaded Cup Square Hex Bolt’, has a domed or countersunk head, and the shank is topped by a short square section under the head. The square section grips into the part being fixed (typically wood), preventing the bolt from turning when the nut is tightened. A rib neck Carriage Bolt has several longitudinal ribs instead of the square section, to grip into a metal part being fixed. Zinc coatings prevent oxidation of the protected metal to create a longer lasting finish. It does this by forming a barrier and by acting as a sacrificial anode if this barrier is damaged. Zinc oxide is a fine white dust that (in contrast to iron oxide) does not trigger a breakdown of the substrate’s surface integrity as it is formed. The zinc oxide, if left intact, can act as a barrier to further oxidation, in a way similar to the protection afforded to aluminium and stainless steels by their oxide layers.Carriage Bolt & Nut ZP M10 x 280 Bag 10

The Pozidriv screw is similar in appearance to the classic Phillips cross-head, but in fact is very different. The Pozidriv has four additional points of contact, and does not have the rounded corners that the Phillips screw drive has. The biggest advantage it offers is that, when used with the correct tooling in good condition, it does not cam out, allowing great torque to be applied. The Pozidriv screw can easily be distinguished by a line embossed in the screw head at 45° to the slots for the driver. The countersunk head is designed to sink flush with substrates to leave a smooth surface finish. They have single threads, designed to offer higher pull out values and quicker insertion.Specifications: Size: 5 x 70mm.Box quantity: 100.

With slotted screwdrivers it is important to ensure that the tip matches the width of the screw slot, otherwise you run the risk of damaging the screw head. Slotted screwdrivers are available with either Flared or Parallel tips. For the majority of uses the Flared tip is ideal but if the screw/bolt needs to be driven below the material surface a Parallel tip screwdriver should be used.Roofing Bolt ZP M6 x 16 Bag 25
